Marta Naumovska Grnarova

Born 1973, graduated from the University Ss. Cyril and Methodius Skopje, Department of Mechanical Engineering 1998 and finishing Master of Science in Industrial Management with a thesis in Design Management in few months.

Marta is the owner and general manager of Zavar Company and Managing Director of Zavar Design; founder and president of MAMEI – Macedonian association for metal and electro industry; Programme Director of Skopje Design Week.

Zavar Company is the leading company in the area for special welding, processing equipment and pressure vessels with 85% of exports, mainly in EU. As a general manager her main focus is entering new markets and developing new innovative products, as well as strategic development of the company. She introduced the design segment in the company by founding the brand Zavar Design with a main focus on design of radiators, unique heating objects with artistic appearance. Since 2012 she has been working as a Programme Director of Skopje Design Week with main focus on the development of the Macedonian design scene and promoting it abroad.

In 2014 with the support and initiative of SIPPO, MAMEI was formed to act as a joint hub for all small and medium companies in the area of electro and metal industry with the main focus to grow the sector and promote Macedonian metal industry as a supply partner to the companies in EU.

Jana Acevska

KAPKA jewelry is a brainchild of Skopje born designer Jana Acevska. After completing her degree in Graphic Design at Wimbledon School of Art in London, Jana has pursued a career in advertising, spanning over twenty years. As a graphic designer, she has worked for the leading agencies in the region including Saatchi&Saatchi, New Moment and Scholz&Friends and most recently as a partner and Creative Director at Imelda Ogilvy.

Designing jewelry has started as a way of reliving stress from the everyday job and soon after resulted in building a full-fledged cult following. Over the years, Jana’s hobby has become her career. The jewelry course in Alchimia, Italy was a pivotal point as she fell in love with the contemporary jewelry. She has established her design studio KAPKA jewelry in 2006 and from 2010 continues to operate as a freelance designer in the fields of Graphics, Product and Jewelry Design. Building on her previous experience, Jana has been involved in various design related projects and fairs as a partner in coordination and organization.

KAPKA jewelry has taken part in numerous design fairs and in Skopje, Belgrade, Stockholm, Bern, Zurich, Vienna, Sofia and Bucharest.

Marjan Denkov

Paris Fine Arts Academy graduate and accomplished artist for whom medium is not a constraint. Denkov, with his artistic approach, does not hesitate to use different visual languages and supports.

As en art director of Rue Monsieur Paris and Denkov Design Studios Paris, Marjan Denkov designs are finest quality distinguished objects with statement. At the same time classical, chic and unique, his creations are timeless. They are result of a minimalist, geometric and organic approach.

He designs furniture, create display windows or redevelops and decorates interiors.

Recognised by the press and the critics, his work has been shown in several Contemporary Art Museums, Young Artists Biennials and Contemporary Art Centers from Thessaloniki to Texas via New York City, Miami, Paris, Beijing, Berlin, Barcelona, Valencia, Doha, Bucharest, Warsaw, Skopje, etc.

Stone Design

Stone Design, founded in 2001 by Ljupco Tasevski, Stojan Pavleski, Ivan Simeonov and Gjorgi Radovanovic, is a Macedonian architectural design studio specialized in architecture, urban development and interior design projects. Throughout more than 15 years of international project experience, Stone Design has continually expanded its capabilities through prolonged collaboration with an extended network of consultants, partners, and advisors across Europe.

As a practice, a highly flexible methodological approach has been developed which incorporates collaborations with leading specialists in other disciplines. The office has worked internationally since its inception and has produced a wide range of work ranging from public buildings, infrastructure, offices, residential, products, urban master plans to special category projects. The company has been involved in numerous projects in the area as a leader of the engineering team or as a part of greater international teams.

Moreover as a National Participant of the 15th Biennale of Architecture in Venice the company has again successfully shown its outstanding capabilities, got acknowledgement and gained experience to go further and more.
